Westminster Abbey Choir
The Choir of Westminster Abbey sings the Abbey's daily services. It is made up of up to thirty boy choristers, all of whom attend the Abbey's own Choir School, and twelve professional adult singers, the Lay Vicars. Beyond the daily round it sings at occasions of state: in recent years the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles III. It records for Signum Classics. On Wednesday 7 October it sings Choral Evensong live on BBC Radio 3, marking the programme's hundredth anniversary.
